Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Hexis Software ("we", "us"), the maker of JARVIS. By using the JARVIS apps, Jarvis Cloud or this website, you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.

If you use JARVIS for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

  • The JARVIS apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone, Apple Watch and Android are free to download. You can run JARVIS on your own computer at no cost. On iPhone and Android, the camera, screen sharing and picture-in-picture need a paid Jarvis Cloud plan; the app shows the plans when you try them.
  • Jarvis Cloud is our paid service. It connects your apps to JARVIS from anywhere and, depending on your plan, adds Cloud voice, GPU features, custom avatars and a private Cloud Computer.

Jarvis Cloud is in early access. Features marked "coming soon" or "when available" may arrive later, change or be removed, and some features may be limited while we grow capacity.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create a Jarvis Cloud account.
  • Give accurate details and keep your password and pairing codes private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • A Link, Plus or Pro plan is for one person. Ask us about Enterprise for teams.
  • Tell us right away at hexissoftware@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Plans and billing

Jarvis Cloud has three plans and nothing else to buy: no add-ons and no top-ups.

  • Price: the price shown at checkout is the one you pay, plus any taxes. During early access, prices and allowances may differ from the table above.
  • Payment: on the web and in the desktop app, payments are processed by Stripe and Stripe's terms apply. In the iPhone app you subscribe with Apple's in-app subscriptions, and in the Android app with Google Play Billing; Apple's or Google's terms apply, and you manage, cancel and request refunds for those subscriptions in your Apple or Google account.
  • Renewal: plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Jarvis Cloud account for web subscriptions, or in your Apple or Google account for subscriptions bought in the phone apps; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Allowances reset at each renewal and don't carry over. When one runs out, that feature pauses until your next renewal, or you can move to a bigger plan. Everything else keeps working.
  • Price changes: we'll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it does.
  • Refunds: purchases made through Apple or Google follow their refund policies. If you're a consumer, you keep any right of withdrawal or refund your local law gives you.

GPU features

A GPU hour is one hour of one of our graphics cards working for you. GPU features are face-to-face video calls with an avatar, speaking in a cloned voice during those calls, and creating custom avatars (counted per avatar, not in hours).

  • Each GPU serves one call at a time. At busy moments a call may need to wait, or continue as voice only; Pro plans get priority.
  • To keep capacity fair, a call ends after about 90 seconds of silence or when the app moves to the background.
  • GPU features depend on third-party avatar and voice technology and are released as licensing allows. Until then they may be marked "coming soon".

Custom avatars and cloned voices

You may only create an avatar of yourself, or of someone who has given you written permission to use their face and voice. When you create one:

  • You'll read a consent line aloud on camera. It must match the face and the voice you upload.
  • No public figures, celebrities or anyone you don't have permission from. We reject well-known faces and voices automatically and remove reported avatars.
  • Never use an avatar or cloned voice to deceive, impersonate, defraud, harass, or to make sexual or defamatory content.
  • Avatars are always labeled as AI. Don't remove or hide the label, including in videos you share. This is also required by laws such as the EU AI Act.

The avatar file is yours and lives on your devices. We may refuse to create, or stop serving, an avatar that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that misuse them.

Cloud Computer

Your Cloud Computer is a private server where your agents run instead of on your own computer. You control it, and you're responsible for what you and your agents do with it.

  • Agents use your own accounts with AI providers (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). Their terms and fees apply to that use.
  • It stops after a period without work and starts again when you need it. Hours count only while it runs.
  • Don't use it for crypto mining, attacking or scanning other systems, sending spam, hosting public services, or anything illegal.
  • Its files are encrypted with your key, so we can't recover them if you lose every device that holds the key. Keep your own copies of anything important.
  • When your plan ends, the Cloud Computer and its encrypted backups are deleted after 30 days.

Acceptable use

Don't use JARVIS or Jarvis Cloud to:

  • break the law or anyone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
  • watch, record or analyze people through the camera or screen without their knowledge where the law requires consent;
  • harm, harass or threaten anyone, or create content that sexualizes minors;
  • get around allowances, share an account, resell access, or overload or probe our systems;
  • reverse engineer Jarvis Cloud's servers beyond what open-source licenses allow.

We may limit, pause or end access that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Your content

Everything you put into JARVIS, and everything it makes for you, stays yours. We claim no ownership. You give us permission to process your content only as far as needed to run the features you use, for example streaming your voice through a GPU server during a call. As our Privacy Policy explains, Jarvis Cloud doesn't store it.

Third-party services

JARVIS works with services from other companies, such as Google Gemini, AI agents, Apple, Google Play and Cloudflare. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply when you use them.

Open source

The core of JARVIS is open source under the MIT License. The open-source licenses, not these terms, govern your use of that code. Some components are licensed by others under their own terms; for example, the live avatar engine may only be self-hosted for noncommercial use unless you get a commercial license from its maker.

AI output

JARVIS uses AI models that can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check important answers, and don't rely on JARVIS for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Agents act on your instructions on your computer or Cloud Computer: review what they're about to do, especially commands that change or delete files.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to keep JARVIS reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using JARVIS and cancel your plan any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering Jarvis Cloud; in that case we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused prepaid period where required.

General

  • Changes: if we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before. If you keep using Jarvis Cloud after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, cancel before then.
  • Law: these terms are governed by the laws of the country where Hexis Software is established. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims there.
  • Severability: if part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
